- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the classroom - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes learning and development - Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students in active learning - Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and caregivers - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities and events - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance - Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and classroom activities - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (NOT NEEDED) - Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting - Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment - Familiarity with math concepts and the ability to teach basic math skills to young children Note:
